HB Technologies, Inc. began 10 years ago simply as an effort of meeting the facility needs of Christian churches. Today, the mission of HB Technologies, Inc. remains just that — to meet the facility needs of Christian churches. In that regard, nothing has changed; the firm has remained steadfast to that calling. However, the firm has grown and continues to grow.

The firm was founded and is currently led by Dr. Herbert M. Barber, Jr. The first project completed by the firm consisted of a facilities evaluation for a small church in rural Georgia. Against sound business judgment, Dr. Barber completed that first facilities evaluation at no cost to the church, and it worked. That facility evaluation led to the design of an entirely new facility for that same church, including a new worship center, educational building, administration area, and fellowship building. Even further, that same church recommended HB Technologies, Inc. to another church in the same community, and eventually HB Technologies, Inc. planned, designed, and constructed a two-story educational building for them. 

Today, HB Technologies, Inc. continues to meet the facility needs of its churches. Dr. Barber remains the President and C.E.O, while Ms. Robin L. Harris, CPA, serves as the Vice President and C.F.O. The services of the firm have been fine-tuned over the years, and it now offers complete turn-key services to churches, including planning, design, and construction. HB Technologies, Inc. provides every aspect of the building program, from initial conception through certificate of occupancy, from ground breaking through building dedication.
